Hawaiian Electric
Jason Benn is responsible for the innovation and delivery of IT services and solutions that enable improved efficiencies and service quality for Hawaiian Electric and its customers.
He oversees a team of over 150 employees in Information Technology and Services, Enterprise Performance Excellence, and Information Assurance departments. Benn is also tasked with the role of implementation manager for the $77M Enterprise Resource Planning/Enterprise Asset Management (ERP/EAM) project.
Benn has been with Hawaiian Electric since 1997, holding various information technology positions of increasing responsibility. In 2010, he was promoted to ITS manager before being promoted in 2017 to acting CIO, then a few months later, vice president, ITS & CIO.
Benn holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and has a number of IT professional certifications.
