Terry VanDeWalle is a Senior Principal Biologist at Stantec, with a career spanning over three decades in environmental biology and natural resource management. Since joining Stantec in August 2010, Terry has designed and managed natural resource studies to ensure regulatory compliance and permitting for various sectors, including energy and transportation. Additionally, Terry assists federal agencies with National Environmental Policy Act compliance by drafting environmental assessments and impact statements. An adjunct professor at Hawkeye Community College since 2008, Terry also served as Principal Scientist at Natural Resources Consulting, Inc., from 2006 to 2010, and worked as a Biologist at Earth Tech from 1998 to 2006. Terry holds a Master of Arts in Biology with a focus on Herpetology from Drake University, a Bachelor of Science in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University, and an Associate of Arts in Fisheries and Wildlife Biology from Kirkwood Community College.
