Saumil Shah

Saumil Shah is a highly skilled engineer with a strong background in robotics and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Hayden AI since January 2025, Saumil previously worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at OSARO, where the focus was on developing AI-powered vision systems for warehouse applications. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Software Engineer at Verdant Robotics, Inc., where Saumil contributed to precision farming through the development of a graphical analyzer tool to enhance robot decision-making processes. Earlier roles at Verdant Robotics as a Robotic Software Developer Intern, and at Sahajanand Medical Technologies as an Engineer in R&D, involved the creation of medical devices and automatic testing equipment. Saumil's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Robotics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat. Additional experience includes participation in Robocon 2015 and a summer internship focusing on kinematics algorithms.
