Chrisso de Mel has extensive experience in the logistics and freight management sector, currently serving as the Director of the Group Freight Management Division at HAYLEYS PLC since May 2010. Previously, Chrisso held the position of General Manager at Hayleys PLC and served as the Immediate Past Chairman of the Exporters Association of Sri Lanka from July 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, Chrisso was the Former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Shippers' Council from July 2017 to June 2019. Chrisso's educational background includes attendance at S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia from 1974 to 1986.
