Hayleys
Rohan Karr is currently the Executive Director at Hayleys. Prior to this, they were with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts for five years, heading the Cinnamon Brand Development team and positioning Cinnamon as the most preferred hotel brand in Sri Lanka for local customers and visiting tourists. Rohan was also responsible for heading the City Sector for Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, which included the Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, and Cinnamon Red Colombo. In addition, they headed the waterfront project, Sri Lanka's largest private sector investment, which is an 800-bedroom luxury hotel with entertainment, convention, and events spaces.
Previously, Rohan Karr was with John Keells Holdings PLC as Executive Vice President and a member of the John Keells Holdings - Group Operating Committee (GOC). Rohan has also served as General Manager of Cinnamon Grand Colombo and Director of Asian Hotels & Properties PLC.
Rohan Karr has received numerous accolades throughout their career, including awards for Cinnamon Grand such as Honours and awards in January 2005.
Rohan Karr obtained a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management and Business Studies from the University of West London.
