Annie Lawson

Annie Lawson serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Rock Mountain Land Library since January 2025 and works as a Tax Associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP, advising various entities on business planning and tax issues since September 2021. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the Colorado Attorney General's Office from November 2017 to August 2020, focusing on Revenue & Utilities and Income Tax matters. Annie Lawson has also held positions as a Grassroots Team Leader for Outdoor Women's Alliance, Judicial Law Clerk for the Colorado State Supreme Court and Colorado Court of Appeals, and Legal Intern at Merrick & Company. Annie Lawson earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Pepperdine Law, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, summa cum laude, and Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
