Ben Liu has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Risk & Cyber Security at HCF Australia since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Cyber Security Manager at HCF Australia from August 2018 to February 2022. Ben also served as a Network Design Lead - NSW Roadside at Transurban from May 2017 to July 2018 and as a Network Team Lead at Reserve Bank of Australia from April 2014 to April 2017. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Technical Consultant IV at HP Enterprise Services from October 2011 to April 2014, where they led and delivered various major infrastructure projects. Ben also worked as a Network Designer at Holcim from March 2011 to October 2011, a Network/System Engineer at Omnibyte from October 2005 to October 2007, and a Network Admin at Tyco International from September 2003 to September 2005.
Ben Liu earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Sydney from 2000 to 2002. Ben then pursued a Master's degree in IT from the same university from 2002 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in CCNP, CCSP, and CCVP from Cisco.
