John Edwards has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over many years. John currently works as a Digital Product Lead - Marketplace at HCF Australia since February 2022. Prior to this, they were associated with the National Rugby League, where they held various roles such as Head of Product, Product Lead - NRL Network, and Senior Product Manager (NRL Digital). Before that, John worked at FOX SPORTS Australia as a Product Manager and Commercial Operations Manager - Video. John also gained valuable experience at Yahoo, Auckland Cricket, TVNZ, and Sportal Australia in positions such as Product Manager, Senior Producer, Frontpage Editor, Reporter, Producer, and Rugby Reporter.
John Edwards earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Auckland, where they attended from 2000 to 2004. John later pursued a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at Auckland University of Technology from 2006 to 2007. Alongside their formal education, John also obtained several certifications in different areas, including Strategic Leadership from the Australian Institute of Management in 2022 and Product Management from General Assembly in 2015. John also completed additional certifications in Agile & Scrum, Essentials of Product Management, and participated in the Fox Sports Australia - Peak Performance Program.
