Dan Dickinson currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Right to Dream since March 2024. Dickinson is a Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at HCI Equity Partners, a role held since April 2001, and has also been a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at the same firm. Additionally, Dickinson is a Board Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Caterpillar Inc., a position maintained since January 2007. Prior experience includes significant roles at Merrill Lynch from 1993 to 2001, where Dickinson served as Co-Head of Global M&A, Head of European M&A, and Head of Industrial M&A. Earlier in the career, Dickinson held the position of VP M&A at First Boston (now CSFB) from 1987 to 1993. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from Duke University.
