Srujana Vanka

Srujana Vanka is a Software Engineer Intern at Small Joys and an Open Source Contributor with GirlScript Summer of Code since May 2023. As a Kuchipudi dancer, Srujana has trained under the esteemed guru Deepika Reddy, performing at notable venues including the Statue of Equality and Pyramid Temple. Previous roles include Coordinator and member of the Marketing Team at The Dance Crew in IIIT Hyderabad, Joint Cultural Secretary and Teaching Assistant for Real Analysis at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad from July 2022 to May 2023, and a Microsoft Engage Mentee in April 2022, where Srujana was selected among the top 1 percentile of applicants nationwide. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIITH (2020-2024) and Senior Secondary from FIITJEE (2018-2020).
