Angel Leon has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Angel started their career in the US Navy as a Seaman in 2008 and gradually worked their way up to become a Petty Officer Third Class and then a Petty Officer Second Class. During their time in the Navy, they gained valuable experience in supervising and managing technicians responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems on aircraft. Angel also served as a Quality Assurance Inspector, ensuring equipment was repaired properly and safely for use in aircraft.
After leaving the Navy in 2013, Angel worked as a Product Analyst for Lysoft Media from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they analyzed and assessed products for the company.
Angel then transitioned to a Product Consultant role from 2014 to 2017, where they provided consulting services to an undisclosed company.
In 2016, Angel joined Health Hero, Inc. as the VP of Product and Operations, a position they still hold. This role entails overseeing the product development and operational aspects of the company.
Angel Leon has a diverse education history in various fields. In 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Cyber Security at New Jersey City University. Angel also earned a Bachelor's Degree in National Security from the same institution in 2013 to 2014.
Before pursuing higher education, Angel Leon underwent specialized technical training. Angel attended the Center For Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit, where they focused on Aircraft Sealed Instrument Repair Intermediate Maintenance. Additionally, they spent time at the Center for Surface Combat Systems Great Lakes and the Air Technical Training Center for Aviation Electrician's Mate Apprentice Technical Training and Aviation Electrician's Mate Strand Class A1, respectively.
Angel Leon also holds multiple certifications. In 2017, they completed the Startup School Online program offered by Y Combinator. Alongside their academic pursuits, they obtained a Certificate in Airspeed Green Belt Course from the United States Navy in 2011. Furthermore, they acquired Military Force Protection Training and Small Arms Qualification certifications from the US Navy in 2008.
