Health Quality Innovators (HQI)

Operating under the Health Quality Innovation Network (HQIN) umbrella, Health Quality Innovators (HQI), The Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence (CCME), and other local improvement partners lead quality efforts in Kansas, Missouri, South Carolina and Virginia. HQIN assists nursing homes, hospitals, physician practices and other providers as they improve patient outcomes at the grassroots level while contributing to national quality goals for reducing opioid deaths, improving care coordination and managing chronic disease. As an HQIN member, you will participate in educational events and use improvement materials that are available to providers in all states. All HQIN members receive timely, relevant data analyses to guide their progress. In addition, you will benefit from state-specific networking and contact with locally based HQIN improvement experts who are familiar with your setting of care. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) funds HQIN as part of its strategy for attaining national health care quality goals. We coordinate HQIN activities with other CMS initiatives to make your participation easier. Come join us!
