Alexandra Amaro-Ortiz, PhD, is an accomplished professional with a comprehensive background in clinical administration and research. Currently serving as an Administrative Office Specialist at VITAHEALTH CLINICS, LLC, and as an Administrator at CARIBBEAN HEART INSTITUTE LLC, Alexandra has extensive experience as a Clinical Administrator at Health System Services since 2017. Previous roles include Research Associate at Aelan Cell Technologies and postdoctoral positions at the University of Southern California and the University of Kentucky, where expertise in molecular biology techniques, protocol development, and data analysis was developed. Alexandra's educational qualifications include a PhD in Toxicology from the University of Kentucky, a Post Baccalaureate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
