William Cronin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. William started their career as a Sales Engineer at Cosyco, where they designed and sold environmental control systems. William then moved on to Communications Management Corporation (CMC), where they served as the Director of the Building Automation Group. At CMC, they also started the Temperature Control Group in Texas and grew it into the largest independent temperature control company in the SW USA.
Following their time at CMC, William joined JWP as a Sales Manager, designing and selling large building automation systems. William then co-founded Ninorc Controls, a building automation company in London, but had to close it down due to a family illness. William also worked as the VP of Sales and Engineering at Jupiter Electric.
In 1994, William ventured into the healthcare field and founded MedGrup Corporation, a medical coding company. William later became the CEO and moved the company to Monument, CO. In 2002, MedGrup was sold to PHNS HIM Services, and William worked as the CEO of the expanded division until 2003.
During this time, William also pursued their interest in wild-land firefighting and started Rampart Fire Services. However, they had to reduce their involvement in Rampart in 2007 due to their workload at HCCS, a healthcare coding and consulting services company that they co-founded and served as the CEO. William and their wife Margie bought a house in Cape Coral, FL, in 2008 and permanently moved there in 2009.

William Cronin attended Rockwell College from 1969 to 1975. William obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in Environmental/Building Services and Electric and Electronic Controls from Technological University Dublin, which they attended from 1975 to 1980.
