Scott Tarter

Scott Tarter has extensive experience in biomedical services and management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Director of Capital Equipment Services at HealthTrust Purchasing Group since May 2016, Scott oversees medical equipment across 17 facilities with over 3,300 licensed beds and 52,000 devices. Prior roles include Director of Biomed Services at Dyersburg Hospital Corporation, managing 15 hospitals with a combined total of over 14,000 devices and 1,700 beds, and Front Line Manager at ARAMARK, responsible for a $1.8 million P&L budget and multiple service contracts. Scott's career began at Trover Foundation Regional Medical Center, where foundational roles included Biomedical Equipment Technician and Manager of Clinical Engineering services. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Organizational Development from Bethel University and multiple associate degrees and diplomas in biomedical technology from Madisonville Community College.
