Clare Allcock is currently the Group Director of Student Experience and Support at Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. Clare also serves as a Coach/Mentor with Yorkshire Accord Coaching & Mentoring Partnership and Executive Director at Wakefield College. Clare is the Chair of the Board of Trustees at The Youth Association and previously held the position of Lead Area Manager at The Manchester College. Clare holds a Masters in Education, Leadership & Management from The University of Huddersfield, and completed their education at Stockport College and Harrytown RC High School.

Heart of Yorkshire Education Group
The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group serves the education and skills needs of the region from its campuses in Castleford, Selby and Wakefield. As a new, combined institution, the Group was formed following the merger of Selby College and Wakefield College on 1st March 2022. The Group offers an expansive range of Post-16 provision, Apprenticeships, Higher Education, Distance Learning and Adult qualifications, through its wide variety of part-time and full-time courses. It also works closely with employers locally, regionally and nationally to deliver work-based training programmes to meet existing and future skills shortages.
