Valentina Kutyifa MD, PhD, FHRS, FESC, FACC is a Professor of Medicine and Vice Chair for Clinical Research at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where responsibilities include overseeing clinical research and directing a large portfolio of national and international multicenter clinical trials in cardiac electrophysiology. Kutyifa serves as a Reviewer for the Bioengineering, Technology, and Surgical Sciences Study Section at the National Institutes of Health and is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, and European Society of Cardiology. Kutyifa holds an MD from the University of Szeged Medical Faculty and advanced degrees in healthcare management and leadership, including a PhD focusing on heart failure and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
