Amanda Owen Mbe

Amanda Owen MBE has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Amanda has worked as a Board Member for the British Safety Council starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a member of the BITC Wellbeing Leadership Team at Business in the Community from 2022. In 2021, they served as Vice Chair of Green Corridor. From 2019 onwards, they held the position of Wellbeing, Health and Safety Director at Heathrow and was also a Board Member at LHR Building Control Services Limited from 2020. Before that, Amanda worked at Bupa as the Business Standards & Resilience Director from 2012 to 2019. From 2007 to 2012, they were the Global Head of Safety, Health & Wellbeing at Royal Bank of Scotland Business, and prior to that, they held various roles at BAA, including Head of Health & Safety at Gatwick and Heathrow.

Amanda Owen MBE holds a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH. Amanda also completed an LLM degree in Employment Law (Distinction) and an MSc degree in Security Management & IT (Merit) from the University of Leicester. Additionally, Amanda has a BA (Hons) degree in Economics (1st Class) from the University of West London.
