Nick Byng-Maddick

Nick Byng-Maddick is a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as the Lead Architect for Airport Operations at Heathrow since May 2013. In this role, Nick oversees the planning and execution of daily operational activities and provides design assurance for various Oracle services, including Oracle Fusion applications and Cloud Infrastructure components. Prior to Heathrow, Nick held multiple positions at HMV, including Chief Architect IT, where a comprehensive Enterprise Architecture and technical roadmap were defined to enhance business services. Additional roles at HMV included Programme Manager, Technical Design Manager, and Systems Development Consultant, contributing to a range of IT projects and architecture designs. Earlier experience includes work as a Senior Programmer at Capgemini. Nick holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a BSc in Physics from the University of Southampton.
