Nico Lauricella

Nico Lauricella is a seasoned media executive with extensive experience in journalism and editorial leadership. As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Heatmap News since January 2022, Lauricella has established a platform focusing on news and opinion content. Previously, at The Week from August 2013 to November 2021, Lauricella served as Editor-in-Chief, overseeing a staff of 20 editors and writers and managing a significant budget. Other roles at The Week included Deputy Editor and Morning Editor, where Lauricella directed coverage and edited award-winning newsletters. Prior experience includes serving as an Editor at HuffPost, an Associate at TSD Communications, and a Field Organizer for Obama for America.
