Rachel Chalmers

Rachel Chalmers is a seasoned partner and entrepreneur with extensive experience in venture capital and startup mentorship. Currently, Rachel serves as a partner at Heavybit and co-founder of Stealth, while also being a part-time partner at Alchemist Accelerator since 2018, where responsibilities include reviewing applications, coaching founders, and investing in AI companies led by underrepresented minority founders. Previous roles include venture partner at Merian Ventures, advising engagements at Honeycomb.io, and principal at Ignition Partners, where Rachel focused on investments in developer tools and machine learning. Additionally, Rachel contributed to nonprofit efforts supporting women in technology as an advisor for The Ada Initiative and led the infrastructure practice as VP of Research at The 451 Group. Rachel holds a Master of Philosophy in Anglo-Irish Literature from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English from the University of Sydney.
