Joey Boulard is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently a Senior Mining Engineer at Hecla Mining since May 2022, Joey provides support for operations across North America. Previously, at Nevada Gold Mines from September 2019 to April 2022, Joey held roles as Senior Engineer and General Supervisor, overseeing an underground production mining team and managing paste backfill engineering projects. Joey's experience includes positions at Newmont Corporation, where responsibilities included leading underground drilling and blasting projects and managing compliance for an 11-man crew. Earlier roles encompass research assistance at MIRARCO, and various positions in development mining and lab technician roles across different companies, showcasing a broad skill set in mining operations and engineering. Joey earned an Engineer's Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Laurentian University and a diploma in Mining Technology from College Boreal.
