Laura Pacholski currently serves as the Director of Environmental Permitting at Hecla Mining Company since July 2025. Previously, Laura held the position of National Director, Mining and Mining Permitting Lead at Ausenco from November 2022 to July 2025. Prior to that role, Laura worked at Arctic Canadian Diamond Company Ltd. as Team Lead for Environmental Management and Monitoring, overseeing the development of environmental programs and liaising with Government Inspectors and Indigenous communities from September 2017 to November 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as an Environment Advisor for Fisheries and Aquatics and an Aquatic Scientist at Golder from March 2007 to September 2017. Laura Pacholski holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Leeds, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Management from the University of Lincoln, and a Master of Science in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Monitoring from Ulster University.
