Kathy Jensen Watts has extensive experience in human resources, with a strong focus on leadership roles. Kathy began their career at Tripp Lite as a Manager of Compensation & Benefits from 1991 to 1996. Kathy then joined Heidrick & Struggles, where they served as the Manager of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS from 1996 to 2001. Kathy continued to progress in their career and held various positions at Heidrick & Struggles, including Director of HR Americas from 2002 to 2006 and Vice President of HR Americas from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they joined Tecta America Corp and served as the Vice President and later the Senior Vice President of Human Resources until 2013. Currently, Kathy is the Chief Human Resource Officer at The Heico Companies LLC, a position they have held since May 2022. Kathy also previously held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at the same company from 2013 to 2022.

It holds interests in businesses in a variety of industries including aerospace, steel wire products, pre-engineered metal buildings, heavy equipment, telecommunications, plastics, food production, commercial construction and material handling equipment. Michael Heisley started Heico in 1979 with one small manufacturing company. Heisley also owns a majority stake in the NBA Memphis Grizzlies.
