Dilip Bhandari

Dilip Bhandari is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in livestock programs and animal health. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Programs at Heifer International since September 2006, Bhandari manages a portfolio of Signature Programs in Asia, focusing on livestock technologies and sustainable practices to enhance smallholder farmers' productivity and income. Previous roles at Heifer International include Director of Program and Livestock Technology, Program Manager, and Program Officer, where Bhandari contributed to program development, implementation, and monitoring. Additional experience includes serving as an Ad Hoc Committee Member for the World Organisation for Animal Health, a Steering Committee Member for the International Goat Association project, and a Training Coordinator for Community Animal Health Workers with Veterinarians Without Borders. Bhandari holds a Master of Veterinary Medicine from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Tribhuvan University.
