Michael Meyer has a strong and extensive work experience in the design and development of bags, luggage, and other soft goods. Michael began their career as a Product Design Intern at RenquistDesign, Inc. in 2004 before moving on to freelance design work at the same company. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at High Sierra, Inc., where they were responsible for managing various bag and luggage design projects. Michael then joined Under Armour as a Senior Design Manager, where they designed innovative bag products and contributed to product line management until 2013. Michael then worked at Granite Gear as the Director and later Senior Director of Design & Development, overseeing all creative aspects of the company. From 2018 to 2023, they served as Director of Design at Osprey Packs, Inc., leading product and graphic design, materials, and sustainability. Michael currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Design at Helen of Troy, focusing on design for home and outdoor products under the Osprey and Hydro Flask brands.

From 2001 to 2005, Michael Meyer attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design.
