Eleanor Gavin

Eleanor Gavin is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Deputy Company Secretary and formerly as Assistant Company Secretary at Helical plc since November 2019. Prior experience includes a role in the Corporate Legal Team at SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Limited from July 2017 to November 2019, as well as positions as Junior Legal Counsel and Junior Legal Counsel in the Group Company Secretarial at Aberdeen Standard Investments between September 2014 and July 2017. Eleanor's career began at Miller Samuel LLP, where a legal training contract culminated in becoming a qualified solicitor and Notary Public from September 2012 to September 2014. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Glasgow and the University of Helsinki, alongside a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow, and completed the Chartered Secretaries Qualifying Scheme (CSQS) through The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland.
