Bryan McKinney has over a decade of experience in data analytics and data science. Bryan currently works at BioTrack as the Director of Data Analytics and Data Science. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Data Scientist at Forian Inc., where they created algorithms for inventory management and led a team of data scientists and python developers to enhance a data analytics platform. Before that, Bryan was the Analytics Manager and Primary Data Scientist at Helix TCS, where they started the data products division and utilized machine learning techniques for market insights and predicting product trends. Bryan also completed freelance data science projects for private clients at McKinney Analytics, focusing on customer segmentation and predictive algorithms. Bryan's experience also includes creating the Data Science department at AlsoEnergy and developing machine learning models to improve predictive algorithms and create alerts. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Test Engineer at Medtronic and as a Technology Project Manager at Total Hockey. Bryan began their career as a Consultant at Accenture, where they managed projects and ensured timely completion of work.
Bryan McKinney obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University, which they pursued from 2003 to 2007. Bryan later pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering, specifically Controls and DSP, at the University of Colorado Denver from 2015 to 2016. In 2019, Bryan completed a Machine Learning Engineering Career Track certification from Springboard, emphasizing their interest in Machine Learning.
