Hang Dai's doctoral research at Baylor College of Medicine involved creating a reference-free method for quantifying genetic differences and analyzing genetic variants associated with hearing impairment. An earlier undergraduate experience at Fudan University focused on protein-protein interactions in Arabidopsis thaliana. Hang Dai holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fudan University.
