Petros Arvanitis, PhD, holds extensive experience in strategy, planning, investments, and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Strategy, Planning, Investments & Sustainability at Hellenic Train S.A. since February 2016. As a member of the Executive Committee, Petros also fulfills the roles of Head of Strategy, Planning and Investments, Head of Budget and Control, and Economic Advisor to the CEO. Between January 2017 and December 2018, Petros was a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Athens University of Economics and Business. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Doctor of Philosophy in Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Piraeus.
