Sudheer Thakur

Sudheer Thakur has worked in the tech industry since 1993. Sudheer began their career at Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, where they were a member of the core team that delivered Object-Relational support in Oracle 8.0. Sudheer then moved to Sagent as a Senior Engineer before joining Viquity as the first employee and Director of Engineering. At Viquity, they architected and implemented a hosted, reliable, fast, and secure Internet document transport facility interoperable with other systems.

In 2001, Thakur became a Founding Member and Principal Technologist at Business Signatures. Seven years later, they Co-Founded and became CTO of Localyte, a company connecting travelers with local experts and local services in travel destinations. In 2010, they worked as a Consultant for NileGuide and MyTownPerks (formerly Juice in the City). Two years later, they Co-Founded HelloShift. Finally, in 2012, they joined Pearl.com as a Principal Engineer.

Sudheer Thakur holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
