Guy Israeli

Guy Israeli has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Guy began their career in 2006 at idf as a Network Engineer responsible for deployments, installations, and support for mission-critical networks. Guy later became a Network Security Engineer and eventually a Network Security R&D Team Leader & Product Manager, where they oversaw a team of hardware and software engineers and conducted research on security technologies.

In 2012, Guy co-founded Vootera, a social platform focused on creating change and impact in society. Guy served as the CTO and was responsible for the platform's frontend development.

After leaving Vootera, Guy co-founded Citymize in 2014, where they served as the CTO. Citymize automated the process of finding products in stores and tracking their availability and prices. Guy was responsible for the frontend development using technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Sass.

In 2015, Guy joined Klarna as a Software Engineer. Guy worked on various software development projects until 2018.

From 2018 to 2020, Guy worked at HERE Mobility. Guy initially joined as a Software Engineer in the Map and Location Services Team. Later, they took on the role of a Software Engineer in the Core, Payments & Geo Services Team. Eventually, they became the Payments & Geo Services Team Leader.

Most recently, in 2020, Guy joined Simply (formerly JoyTunes) as a Software Engineer.

Guy Israeli obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Guy completed their studies at the university from 2002 to 2006.
