Morgan Plant has a diverse work experience in software engineering and buying. Morgan started their career as an Associate Buyer at Swell.com, where they were responsible for purchasing goods and merchandise. They were promoted multiple times and became the head Men's Buyer. During this time, Morgan also built tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. After their time at Swell.com, Morgan joined Famo.us as a Curriculum Software Engineer, where they created lesson modules and documentation for the open-source JavaScript library. They were promoted to L2 engineer within three months and gave a live coding demo at a developer conference. Following Famo.us, Morgan worked at Staance as a Frontend Web + Android Engineer. They built critical features for the Android app and rebuilt landing pages for the web app. At Hearsay Systems, Morgan served as a Software Engineer and worked on various projects until 2019. Finally, Morgan joined WeWork as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2020. Recently, Morgan started working at wisp as a Software Engineer.

Morgan Plant attended Hack Reactor in 2014, but did not attain a degree. From 2004 to 2008, Morgan studied Latin American Studies with a focus on History and Language at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additionally, Morgan studied History at the Universitat de Barcelona from 2006 to 2007.
