Albert Suso

Albert Suso Marco is an AI Research Engineer and Tech Lead at Helsing since November 2022, where responsibilities include leading the development of detection models and an OCR model for license plate recognition, as well as creating a framework for computer vision model training and evaluation. Previously, as a Software Engineer at Boston Consulting Group from September 2021 to October 2022, Albert developed a modeling and optimization tool for oil refinery scheduling and achieved a promotion from junior to mid-level within a year. Albert also worked as an AI Researcher at the Computer Vision Center from September 2020 to August 2021, focusing on research in replicating artwork using reinforcement learning and semi-supervised learning, resulting in a publication at ICDAR. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Data Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
