Amal Vaidya

Amal Vaidya is an AI Research Engineer at Helsing since May 2024, previously serving as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from March 2023 to April 2024. Prior to that, Amal worked at Faculty as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist from September 2019 to February 2023. Amal's experience includes a PhD candidacy as part of the ATLAS experiment at CERN from October 2015 to August 2019, and a role as a Doctoral training student at ASOS.com focused on developing machine learning architectures for natural language processing solutions during early 2019. Amal holds a Doctor of Philosophy in High Energy Physics from UCL (2015-2019) and an Msci in Natural Sciences, specializing in Mathematics and Physics, from Durham University (2011-2015).
