Vashon Hinton has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Vashon currently serves as the Director of Project Services at HEMI Systems since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Scheduler/Project Manager at the same company from February 2021 to February 2023. Before joining HEMI Systems, they worked as a Senior Estimator at Caddell Construction from July 2020 to November 2020 and at Summit Industrial Construction, LLC from October 2017 to June 2020. Earlier in their career, Vashon worked at PCL Construction as a Mechanical Estimator from November 2014 to October 2017. Vashon also held various roles at Overland Contracting Inc., TIC The Industrial company, including Project Coordinator, Project Engineer/Estimator, Mechanical Lead Field Engineer/Superintendent, Project Engineer, Electrical Field Engineer, Pipe Field Engineer, and Pipe/Mechanical Field Engineer.
Vashon Hinton completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Georgia Southern University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, Vashon completed another Bachelor of Science degree in EET (Electrical Engineering Technology) from the University of West Georgia.
In addition to the academic degrees, Vashon also obtained two certifications. In February 2016, Vashon received The Cultural Transition Process Certification from Partners In Leadership. Furthermore, in May 2010, Vashon obtained the Supervisor Safety certification from NCCER.
