Oliver Reis

Oliver Reis has over 25 years of experience in the coatings and chemical industry, currently serving as R&D Director Decorative at Hempel A/S since October 2018, following a role as Director of Product and Technology Development at J.W. Ostendorf GmbH & Co. KG. Previous positions include Technology Manager at Axalta Coating Systems and various leadership roles at DuPont Performance Coatings GmbH, where Reis effectively managed large teams and oversaw significant product development initiatives across Europe, with a focus on high-bake coating systems and innovative technologies. Reis holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from TU Dortmund University and a Diplom-Chemiker from Ruhr University Bochum.
