Manuel Sommer

Manuel Sommer holds extensive experience in purchasing and project management, currently serving as a Senior Purchasing Manager and Global Category Team Lead for HR at Henkel since July 2018, where responsibilities include sourcing global fleet and HR services. Previously, Manuel was a Purchasing Manager, managing local purchasing for indirect materials and services, leading negotiations, and driving efficiency improvements. Prior experience includes a role at AGRANA Group as a Technischer Projekteinkäufer, overseeing procurement contracts and supplier negotiations, along with multiple internships in drilling and oil and gas production at RWE Dea AG and ExxonMobil. Manuel is a graduate of Montanuniversität Leoben with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
