Frans Van der Colff is an experienced academic and business leader with a robust background in retail management and franchising. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer at Wits Business School and a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Johannesburg's Department of Business Management, Frans also holds the position of Faculty and Executive Fellow at Henley Business School - Africa. As Managing Director of VDC Consulting, Frans provides mentorship and strategic guidance to businesses across Africa. Previous roles include Head of the Africa Division at Fruit & Veg City Group, where Frans established Foodlovers Markets in ten countries, and various leadership positions at Pick n Pay, where Frans oversaw significant business growth and development, including the opening of 300 new stores. Frans holds a Master's Degree in Strategic Planning from Heriot-Watt University.
