Julie Brown is a seasoned wellness professional with extensive experience in health education and management. Currently serving as the Wellness Coordinator at Henry Community Health since March 2012, Julie previously worked at Roche Diagnostics as a Trainer in Diabetes Care, where responsibilities included training new hires in diabetes education and customer service protocols. Julie's career also includes positions as a Health Educator at the Madison County Health Department, where a tobacco prevention program was initiated, and as a Team Leader for Health Solutions, overseeing health screenings in industrial settings. Julie holds a Master of Arts in Wellness Management and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ball State University, where significant contributions to health promotion programs were made as a Graduate Assistant.

Henry Community Health is an integrated health system located in the heart of the rolling hills of east central Indiana, just 45 minutes east of Indianapolis. The 50-bed county-owned facility brings many big-city services into area residents’ own back yard. Henry Community Health Medical Group is comprised of physicians in 15 medical specialties including anesthesiology, asthma, allergy/immunology, cardiology, family medicine, infectious disease, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, physiatry, pain management, general surgery, hospice, pediatrics and radiology. Other specialists available locally including urology, ENT, podiatry, interventional vascular radiology, nephrology, pulmonology, dermatology, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and ophthalmology. Many other specialty physicians provide services locally. In addition to an acute-care hospital, we provide a wide range of healthcare services including home health, hospice, rehabilitation services, sports medicine, retail pharmacies, a Cardiovascular Center, accredited Chest Pain Center, Advanced Wound Center, Sleep Center, Joint Replacement Center, New Castle Walk-in Care, Health Ridge wellness and fitness center and employer-based health clinics. Henry Community Health is the largest employer in the county providing a considerable impact on the local economy.
