Ania Jolly currently serves as the Head of Research and Business Engagement at the Henry Royce Institute, a position held since May 2022. Previously, Ania held significant roles at the European Commission, including Vice-Chair of the Chemistry Panel, where responsibilities involved managing the Horizon Europe Individual Fellowship evaluation process and serving as an expert evaluator for HORIZON 2020 project proposals. Ania's extensive experience in academia includes several positions at The University of Manchester, focusing on strategic funding and knowledge exchange in health technology research and innovation. Ania’s early career involved research fellowships at University College London and Queen Mary University of London, with a specific emphasis on nanomedicine and polymers, complemented by educational qualifications up to a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Nanomaterials. Ania’s work is characterized by a strong background in research collaboration, project management, and scientific communication across various institutions and projects.
