Omar Kellman

Omar K. Kellman is a seasoned professional in athletics and community enrichment, currently serving as the Director of Athletics and Community Enrichment Services at Henry Street Settlement since January 2023 and as the Associate Head Coach for Men's Basketball at Pratt Institute since October 2022. As the founder of Rights of Passage Engagement, Kellman has developed workshops focused on financial literacy, relationship building, entrepreneurship, and college preparation for young males between the ages of 9 and 22. Previous roles include Director of Sports, Fitness, & Aquatics at H.E.S. - The Hebrew Educational Society and Sports Based Youth Development Coordinator at Kids in the Game, where Kellman coached and managed substantial programs. Kellman's professional journey began with an Assistant Manager position at Champs Sports, overseeing a large team and achieving significant sales milestones. Kellman holds a degree in Psychology with a focus on Behavioral Sciences from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
