Valeriya Adjan Steffey, M.D., is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in biopharmaceuticals and clinical consulting. Currently serving as the Director of In-Vitro Studies at Hera BioLabs since December 2018, Valeriya leads organizational change and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory policies. In addition, Valeriya provides independent consulting services for Demeetra AgBio, Inc., focusing on cell culture and in vitro assays. Previous roles include Director of Cell Line Engineering and Manager of Cell Culture at Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals, where Valeriya cultivated customer relationships and led innovative projects in cell biology. Valeriya's career also encompasses significant contributions as a Scientist II at the University of Kentucky and as an ophthalmologist in Russian medical facilities. Valeriya holds two medical degrees from Rostov State Medical University, specializing in ophthalmology and general medicine.
