Ben Shaw

Ben Shaw is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and partnerships within the technology and insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Carrier Relations & Partnerships at Herald since October 2024 and as a Co-Founder of Flyla.com from November 2022, Ben has held significant roles, including Associate Partner at Stryber and Advisor for Fundraising at WETTERHELD. Ben was previously a Mentor at Copernicus Accelerator and Director of Programs & Strategy at InsurTech Hub Munich, where efforts focused on corporate innovation collaboration with startups. Early career experience includes positions at Barclays, intelligent views, and IBM, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Management/Computing Science from the University of Glasgow and an EMBA in Innovation & Business Creation from TUM School of Management.
