Jimmy Carbone is the founder of Food Karma Projects, a NYC-based production company that focuses on specialty food and craft beverage events. Jimmy is also the host of Beer Sessions Radio on Heritage Radio Network and serves as a founding board member and President of East Village Independent Merchants Association. Jimmy has a background in the restaurant industry, owning establishments like Jimmy's No. 43 and Mugsy’s Chow Chow/Patio Dining. Jimmy is currently a Sterling Network NYC Fellow at the ROBERT STERLING CLARK FOUNDATION, INC. Jimmy has a certificate in Wine Steward/Sommelier from Sommelier Society of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, Architecture from Columbia University.

We produce 35+ weekly radio shows that inspire and activate our diverse community of listeners. Our shows are broadcast live from the backyard of Roberta’s, the iconic Brooklyn pizzeria. They are also available as on-demand podcasts so our fans can listen to their favorite shows anytime, anywhere, for free. Heritage Radio Network is more than just a radio station. We offer live events, media partnerships, behind-the-scenes reporting, and scholarship programs, and support a a division of writers who produce stories on topics including Advocacy & Food Policy, Agriculture, Hospitality, Science & Tech, Beverage, and more. Since 2009, we've been delivering to our audience experiences they can't find anywhere else.
