Mari Luukkainen is a Principal at Icebreaker.vc, where Mari invests in idea-stage technology startups in Finland, Sweden, and Estonia. Mari is also the Founder of Herizon, a non-profit focused on increasing diversity in the tech industry. In addition, Mari is a Shareholder at Freska, the biggest home-cleaning company in the Nordics, and an Angel Investor at Do Good Brew Co., a high-end craft brewery. Mari also serves as a Coach for Growth at Kiuas and Co-Founder, Advisor at Hautaustoimisto Funeral. With a background in business administration and information technology, Mari is passionate about building growth teams and supporting early-stage tech companies.

Herizon
We’re bringing new voices to Nordic tech. Our mission is to make the tech world more diverse by linking international talent with jobs in the Nordics. Currently, there are already half a million immigrants in Finland, with 34% holding higher education diplomas. However, many are struggling to find jobs that match their education and experience. Herizon's objective is to secure jobs for 10,000 people across the Nordics by the end of 2027. To date, over 200 Herizon community members have successfully landed jobs, and we’re just getting started. Our community consists of hundreds of talented, skilled professionals actively working towards their next career move. By joining Herizon’s community, members gain access to free training in Growth Hacking, weekly LinkedIn coaching sessions, and events arranged in collaboration with industry professionals and companies such as Maki.vc & KONE. Additionally, we run a mentorship program, and most importantly, we match them with companies actively seeking new talents. We invite all companies around the Nordics to join our mission.
