Kausalya Nandakumar

Kausalya brings nearly two decades of leadership experience spanning the automotive, electric mobility, digital innovation, and social impact sectors. Renowned for her ability to drive business transformation, scale high-growth ventures, foster innovation, and champion diversity, she brings a rare blend of strategic vision and operational excellence.

At Hero MotoCorp, Kausalya leads the strategic direction and growth of our Emerging Mobility Business Unit – VIDA, where she is responsible for shaping the future of mobility through cutting-edge technologies and innovative growth platforms.

Prior to joining Hero MotoCorp, Kausalya spent 18 impactful years with the Mahindra Group in several pivotal leadership roles. As Head of Business Transformation for Mahindra’s Farm Division, she played a central role in conceptualizing and scaling Krish-e, the company’s pioneering farming-as-a-service platform. At Glyd, Mahindra’s electric shared mobility venture, she led both operations and platform development, accelerating its market presence. Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer of Mahindra Electric Automobile Ltd., she led the operational readiness and go-to-market strategy for the company’s USD 9.8 billion electric SUV business.

Kausalya holds an MBA in Marketing from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Mumbai University. She has also been honoured with the prestigious Exemplary Women Leadership Award, recognizing her contributions to leadership and innovation.
