Svetlana Transka-Lea

Svetlana Transka-Lea has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 1997, they worked as a Project Coordinator for the International Black Sea Club, where they liaised with committee members, conducted research for funding, and coordinated and evaluated projects. From 1999 to 2000, they served as a Front of House Team Leader for the LTH Group of Hotels. In 2001, they worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Marcus Evans. From 2002 to 2003, they were a Conference and Events Coordinator for the Grange Hotels Group. From 2003 to 2008, they worked as an Events Sales Manager and Departmental Trainer at the Grove Hotel. From 2008 to 2012, they served as a Sales Manager Corporate and Events for the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, where they handled business opportunities, client inquiries, and achieved event targets. In 2018, they briefly worked as an ESL Teacher at ILSC Education Group. From 2012 to 2022, they held various roles at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, including Business Development Manager and International Business Development Manager. As of 2022, they are currently working as a BodyTalk Practitioner and a Heroic Performance Coach and Ambassador at Heroic Public Benefit Corporation.

Svetlana Transka-Lea has a diverse education history. Svetlana obtained an MBA degree from Hult International Business School in London in 2001. Prior to that, they also earned a Diploma of Management Studies from Hult International Business School in 2000, specializing in Business Administration and Management.

Earlier in their academic journey, Svetlana attended the College of Tourism from 1994 to 1997, where they received a Diploma in Hospitality and Catering Management.

In addition to their formal education, Svetlana has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they received The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults from Lexis English. Furthermore, they are a certified BodyTalk Practitioner, accredited by the International Bodytalk Association (IBA), and a Heroic Performance Coach certified by the Heroic Public Benefit Corporation. These certifications were obtained in November and December 2022 respectively.
