Amit Thapar

Amit Thapar is an experienced professional in demand planning and allocation, currently serving as the Director of Demand Planning and Allocation at Herschel Supply Company since July 2023. Previously, Amit held the position of Senior Planning Manager at OAK + FORT from April 2021 to January 2023, focusing on forecasting and planning sales at the regional and store level. Amit's extensive career includes roles such as Head of Planning for the Clothing division at Kamal Osman Jamjoom, as well as various managerial positions in merchandise planning across brands like Mikyajy, The Body Shop, and Nine West. Amit started their career as a Retail Analyst at Steve & Barrys and has been involved in several planning and management roles since then. Amit holds an MBA in Marketing from BGIMS, completed between 2003 and 2005.
