Ashish Kumar

Ashish Kumar has been with Hevo Data since June 2021, progressing from SDE to SDE 3, where responsibilities include ensuring system scalability and reliability across the data pipeline infrastructure. Achievements include implementing an SLA-based scaling algorithm for Kafka consumers, drastically reducing message processing latency, and optimizing telemetry process performance. Ashish also architected a node termination system for distributed task execution, significantly increasing job scheduling efficiency. Prior experience includes an internship at Hevo Data, where Ashish led UI development for Hevo Activate and resolved Redshift performance issues, and a summer internship at Datafortune. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained in 2021.
